Let’s face it. It took a lot for you to begin this journey down your path for change. Counseling can be scary. It may take all you have just to get through your day. The thought of going to a strange counseling office seems intimidating, uncomfortable, or worrisome. Perhaps the symptoms you experience make it difficult to sit anywhere other than your special spot at home. Maybe, you spend too much time in doctor’s offices, traveling to and from appointments, or cannot find the time to fit one more thing in your day. In home counseling can make the transition into counseling a more serene process. And, after all, is serenity not one of your end goals? With an in home session, the therapist comes to you in the comfort of your home. You don’t have to feel nervous about unfamiliarity of an office, a location, or where to park. If the counselor comes to you in your home, then you do not need to find time to schedule the transportation time to and from your appointment into your already busy life. If you are not feeling well, experiencing pain, or fatigue, then you do not need to go through the routine of getting ready to leave your home. You can sit on your couch, your favorite chair, or even your porch and go down your journey to reclaim your life.
